How do you define success? Many people will define it as getting a highly paid job with popularity. Making your parents proud. Able to life a life of no worries of bills, loans and anything related to money.
A friend told me today that is not what I think of definition. He gave another and I think its also a much sensible one as well. Success is doing the things you love to do, for example me...I love music. But...but lets just come back to reality just for a while. In this era, everybody is looking for fame and fortune I on the other hand would love to just entertain people. But a music career is risky in this world now. Being a musician or a job related to music is hard to get. Many elders say it is hopeless and you can't go far with it. True! But i just wish i would lie to myself, hey i need to do whats best for me.
So back to the doing what you like. Yeah! It will be a joy ride. But for a life of an artist, you can be sabotaged, compromised, and misunderstood. There is no privacy for yourself. Well that's the part where you will have to sacrifice being famous. Once again i say that I do not go for fame just the joy of playing and singing makes me happy and when people praise you for your good job it makes it all worthwhile.(readers can you get how i feel?).
I will have to study hard for my future a proper one. It would be a miracle for an agent to spot me and offer a life like maybe hmmmm....Jesse Mccartney? Now I have no ambition, but i would love to be a singer song-writter composer.( yeah like that is gonna happen). I'll have to see where my results take me. But I so very love my life right now. All i can say is my life currently is just too good to be true.(I'll might have to get use to this life if it goes on).
